The Olde English District is one of eleven tourism regions located in South Carolina. The
name refers to the
region's early settlement by the English in the mid-1770's and to the Revolutionary War battles fought here.

Carolina Skies - Museum of York County, Rock Hill All Saturdays and Sundays. Tour the current night sky and identify bright constellations and planets, which adorn the skies above. Turkey Calls: From Function To Folk Art - Museum of York County, Rock Hill Discover the arty of box, wing bone and slate turkey calls, which range from simply functional to elaborately decorative. This exhibit explores the life of the wild turkey and the art and craft of turkey calling and features a habitat diorama and interactive displays.
